Julia joined Beaton Burke Young LLP as a summer student in 2025 and now returns as an articling student. She earned her law degree at the University of Toronto Faculty of Law. Julia brings hands-on experience in family law through her previous work as a Family Law Caseworker at Downtown Legal Services.
Before law school, Julia earned her Bachelor of Social Work from Western University. There, she pursued various advocacy-focused opportunities that deepened her passion for supporting individuals navigating the legal system.
At Beaton Burke Young, Julia assists lawyers with all aspects of their files, including legal research and drafting, client meetings, and court preparation. She is committed to providing meaningful support to clients and gaining a deeper understanding of the complexities of family law.
